What's covered

The protection that matters.

A good travel insurance plan covers a handful of real risks, and the rest is noise. The four that matter most are trip cancellation, emergency medical care, emergency evacuation, and the travel disruptions in between. Here is what each one does, and how we match your trip to a plan that covers them, with all three of your best plans compared side by side.

Trip cancellation & interruption

Reimburses prepaid, nonrefundable trip costs if you must cancel before, or come home early during, your trip for a covered reason: illness, injury, and other named events.

Emergency medical

Pays for emergency medical care while you travel. This matters most abroad, where your regular health plan and Medicare generally won't cover you.

Emergency evacuation

Covers emergency medical transport to adequate care or back home. It's one of the most expensive things that can go wrong, and one of the most valuable to insure.

Baggage & travel delay

Helps with lost, stolen, or delayed bags, and with extra costs when your travel is delayed along the way.

How we match you

Not every traveler needs the same plan. The right coverage depends on where you're going, how much your trip costs, who's traveling, and your ages. Our quiz weighs those and recommends the plan that fits, so you're not overpaying for extras you don't need, or underinsured on the things that matter.

We sell plans from three carriers: Travelex, Faye, and USI Travel Insurance Services. The quiz compares all three for your trip and recommends the one that fits, chosen on your details, nothing else.
